Faculty of Business and Law students are putting their theory in to practice, thanks to the Perth Heat and Baseball WA.

Eleven students are currently working with both sporting teams on a range of projects including:

  • Community relations;
  • Sales and sponsorship;
  • Event planning;
  • On-field hosting;
  • Research and development; and
  • Financial accounting.

General Manager of Baseball WA Lachlan Dale is excited to be working with ECU students.

“Baseball WA is truly excited at the opportunity to work with ECU in helping shape and develop future leaders in the workplace,” said Lachlan Dale, General Manager of Baseball WA.

Perth Heat General Manager Alex Pellarano says ECU students will join a dynamic team of volunteers from the United States in preparation for the coming season.

“With students and workers from Australia, the US, South Africa, India, and more, the Heat have become an international office all working together towards successful outcomes across all facets of business,” Mr Pellarano said.
