The LEAP Foundation and ECU are offering three outstanding students the opportunity to attend The Young Adult LEAP Program at the University of California’s Los Angeles campus from July 28 – August 2013.
Three scholarships are available, which cover the costs of tuition, materials and accommodation at the conference. Airfares to and from LA must be paid by the individual students.
The international conference is designed to teach university students both personal and academic ways to gain a seven-year ‘LEAP’ on success.
In 2012 ECU students Emily Cribb, Amalee Oliver and Sean Duffy attended the conference alongside 500 other students from around the world.
The event was filled with high profile national and international leaders covering everything from politics to entertainment.
Amalee described the event as inspiring.
“I am excited that I now truly believe in my goals, my future and my potential for success,” she said.
“I started the week at LEAP lacking confidence and shy and at the end I came out confident, happy and believing in myself.”
Undergraduate students wishing to nominate to attend the program are required to:
