New scholarships worth $20,000 each and an early offer scheme are now available to Year 12 students who begin their engineering studies with ECU in 2017.
ECU’s School of Engineering is one of the fastest growing engineering schools in Australia, according to the School’s Dean, Professor Daryoush Habibi.
“With a wide choice of engineering disciplines to choose from, and multi-million dollar laboratory facilities, ECU’s accredited engineering courses are helping students graduate as versatile engineers, well-equipped to meet the challenges of the future,” Professor Habibi said.
The ECU Engineering Excellence Scholarships are valued at $20,000 each to high performing Year 12 students who wish to study Engineering in 2017.
Students must be nominated by their schools as top performers in one of Maths Methods, Maths Specialist, Chemistry, Engineering Studies or Physics.
Nominations will be based on end of Term 2 results for 2016.
Another reason to choose ECU is the chance to receive an early offer.
ECU is participating in a WA trial of early offers for Year 12 students who wish to study Engineering. This means that Year 12 students who put engineering at ECU as their first preference may be offered a place before their end of year exams, based on predicted ATARs provided by schools.
ECU offers will be conditional on students achieving the necessary ATAR cut-off scores for the respective Engineering course and meeting all other entry requirements.
