The day was a great success with approximately 5000 people visiting ECU to find out what university life is all about.
Open Day is held each year to give prospective students and their families an opportunity to find out about the courses available at ECU, tour the campus, attend information sessions and enjoy live entertainment.
Manager, Public and Corporate Relations, James Fuller said the Open Day brought a real sense of excitement to ECU.
"It was great to see the Joondalup campus so alive with enthusiastic guests, student volunteers and staff," he said.
"Prospective students and their families came away with important information about going to uni, the courses on offer and the carnival rides and animal farm were a big hit with the kids."
Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor John Finlay-Jones said that it was great to see so many visitors take up the rare opportunity to explore the facilities and courses at ECU.
"There are some great career opportunities here at ECU with over 400 courses and a range of entry pathways," he said.
Open Day at ECU Mount Lawley and WAAPA will be held on Sunday, 27 July. For more information, visit www.reachyourpotential.com.au/openday.
