ECU announces headline entertainment for Open Day
Monday, 22 June 2009
Edith Cowan University's Joondalup Campus is set to rock on Sunday, 19 July when Children Collide performs live at the annual Open Day.
Children Collide is a three-piece band that shot to fame in the 2008 Triple J Hottest 100 with their song ‘Farewell Rocketship'.
Their debut album, The Long Now, was released last year and is described as a rousing rock soundtrack.
Children Collide will be the headline act on the day with a number of support acts yet to be announced.
ECU Open Day runs from 10.00am to 3.00pm on Sunday, 19 July at the Joondalup Campus.
This free event is a great chance for prospective students to explore course and career options, get a feel for the campus, take part in hands-on activities and find out what life at ECU is really like.
Students can speak to staff and current students about ECU courses and go behind-the-scenes to see ECU's world-class learning facilities.
Information sessions on the admissions process, fees, scholarships and alternative entry pathways will also be held on the day.
The Student Experience Zone will give prospective students a taste of student life outside the classroom.
ECU Open Day will also be held at the Mount Lawley Campus on Sunday, 2 August.
