Make a date with Edith Cowan University (ECU) on Sunday, 19 July for Open Day at the Joondalup Campus.
This free event is a great chance for prospective students and their families to explore course and career options, get a feel for the campus, take part in hands-on activities and find out what life at ECU is really like.
Future students can speak to staff and current students about ECU courses and go behind-the-scenes to see ECU’s world-class learning facilities.
Children Collide will rock the Main Stage at 12.30pm, supported by local acts Homebrewe, Jason Ayes and DJ James Francis.
There'll be hands-on science and health experiments, engineering activities, competitions and prizes, leadership challenges, eye-opening criminology and motor racing simulations.
Information sessions on the admissions process, fees, scholarships and alternative entry pathways will also be held throughout the day.
You can check out the virtual patients in our nursing demonstration wards or test drive a wheelchair in our Occupational Therapy lab.
Motorsports students will have racing cars on display or take a drive around Barbagallo Raceway in one of our racing simulators.
Physics and chemistry labs will be running impressive practical demonstrations and our criminology staff will help you pick the criminal.
Our Business Edge Team will bring out your teamwork, communication and leadership skills in the ‘human knot’ challenge.
Get a feel for campus life at the Student Experience Zone and talk to current students about some of the great clubs and groups at ECU.
The Kids’ Zone is the place to be for the young at heart and you can find out what impact your choices can have on your health and the environment at the Impact Zone.
The day runs from 10.00am to 3.00pm and you can pick up your showbag from any of our blue and white information tents.
ECU Open Day will also be held at the Mount Lawley Campus on Sunday, 2 August.
