More than 5,000 visitors turned out for the Edith Cowan University (ECU) Open Day, held at the Joondalup Campus on Sunday, 18 July.
Future students, their families and members of the community gathered to learn about the courses available at ECU and go behind the scenes to check out the state-of-the-art learning facilities.
The Study Area Zone was busy throughout the day with prospective students taking the opportunity to chat one-one-one with lecturers and past students.
Information sessions gave prospective students the chance to learn about the admissions process, fees, scholarships and alternative entry pathways.
The nursing demonstration wards allowed visitors to interact with patient simulators, while the chemistry and physics shows provided interactive hands on demonstrations.
Roaming performers, the Junkadelic Collective and the Lion Dancers were a huge hit and the Kids’ Zone with animal farm, face painting, balloons and carnival rides was popular with the young and the young at heart.
The Contiki tent offered visitors the chance to win fantastic prizes, including a winter escape for two, and the Nova Casanovas provided entertainment, music and family friendly activities.
