Developed by ECU this space information system is an easily accessible, searchable wealth of information that enables the user to find just what he or she is looking for. By specifying search criteria, the user can find the room that has just the right resources to support his/her teaching needs. Search criteria include information such as the type and number of televisions, VCRs, and DVD players available, the number of desks and chairs and their arrangement within the room and the type of floor, such as level, slanted, wood or tile. Once the user has a located a room that fits his/her search criteria, the user can view photos of the room and obtain a map that highlights the room's location.
