This law-enforcement tool for quickly and easily locating illegal images on a suspect computer, developed exclusively by ECU staff and students, is in the process of being rolled out across Australia. First-responders to potential crime scenes are now able to detect illegal images at the press of a button, significantly reducing forensic examiner’s workloads and speeding up the evidence-gathering process. Finalist in 2010 IOTY competition.
