Recognition for Child Health Promotion Research Centre

ECU's Child Health Promotion Research Centre has won the Injury Control Council of WA (ICCWA) Award for Excellence in Injury Prevention Research for 2008. The award was presented by Dr Fiona Wood last week at the annual ICCWA Award ceremony.
The Centre was recognised for research undertaken into the prevention of harm and injury caused by harassment, bullying and aggression among school children in WA. Since the first study commenced in 1999, eleven projects have been carried out at the Centre.
