Survey Research Centre is officially open

Friday, 08 May 2009

ECU's Survey Research Centre was officially opened by Professor Tony Watson, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International), Vice-President and Executive Dean of the Faculty of Computing, Health and Science at a ceremony held yesterday.

The Survey Research Centre is a state-of-the-art facility that provides a practical data collection through phone surveys, mailouts and focus groups to clients including the Department of Health, the National Heart Foundation and Healthway.

Alison Daly, Manager of Health Outcomes Assessment at the Department of Health said facilities at the centre were world-class, and response rates for surveys carried out at the centre were outstanding.

Ms Daly went on to say that a wealth of data has already been collected at Centre since it began operating in 2008, offering valuable insights into the health of Western Australians.
