What do the global financial crisis, cyber-safety, learning to read, European house borers, Alzheimer's disease and Shock of the New music all have in common? They are all examples of some of the great research presentations on show during Research Week 2009 at ECU. Look out for the various lunch time seminars and performing art displays.
Research Week will be held from 20 to 28 August, and aims to create an exciting and stimulating research environment for staff and students.
There are practical workshops for research students, including survey design, how to complete a PhD and effective and well-designed writing. In additional to workshops, there will be information sessions for students interested in further study in research and research careers.
To find out what is happening around Perth and at ECUs Mount Lawley and Joondalup campuses during Research Week, a full program of events is available at www.ecu.edu.au/research/week
