The Faculty of Business and Law will present an overview of research being undertaken by academic staff and postgraduate research students in the Schools of Management; Law & Justice; and Marketing, Tourism & Leisure.
The emphasis will be on key research themes across disciplines including the impact of the mining and resources boom, the industry-research interface and topical issues in the areas of criminology and justice with a focus on suicide prevention.
The Colloquium will comprise a mix of researcher presentations, panel discussions and guest speakers, amongst them Joshua Cunniffe, a WA Young Australian of the Year 2012 State Finalist, to give the audience a multi-faceted perspective on a range of contemporary issues of state, national and/or international interest and significance, now and into the future.
