Panel data analysis has been widely used in economics, finance and accounting research. The advantage of panel data is that it is more informative and provides more flexibility.
This workshop aims to use STATA and EVIEWS statistical software to conduct panel data analysis and will comprise an introduction to applied panel data econometrics. It is targeted at postgraduate students and staff who plan to use panel data in their future research.
Dr Ghialy Yap
Dr Ghialy is an economics lecturer at the School of Accounting, Finance and Economics. She obtained her PhD, with her thesis research examining the factors that influence domestic tourism demand in Australia. Her main research strengths include tourism demand modelling and forecasting, as well as economics empirical research using time-series and panel data econometrics.Research interest:
