Nursing and Midwifery Scholarships in WA
The WA Nursing and Midwifery Office values excellence and innovation in nursing and midwifery care. Competent and educated nurses and midwives, who value lifelong learning, are the key to the provision of safe, excellent and quality patient care. WA Health through the Nursing and Midwifery Office offers financial assistance through initial registration scholarships, postgraduate scholarships, fellowships and grants.

Eligibility requirements
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) (includes Enrolled Nurses bridging to Registered Nurse, those with Hospital or Tertiary Educated Diplomas converting to a nursing degree, and those undertaking Honours or Graduate Entry Masters programs in nursing).
- Scholarships of up to $3000 are available to students who have successfully completed semesters one and two of a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or Bachelor of Science (Midwifery), or equivalent, at a Western Australian tertiary institution
- Scholarships of up to $5000 are available to students who are completing a Bachelor of Nursing or Midwifery Honours program at a Western Australian tertiary institution
Bachelor of Science (Midwifery)
- Scholarships of up to $3000 are available to students who have successfully completed semesters one and two of a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or Bachelor of Science (Midwifery), or equivalent, at a Western Australian tertiary institution
- Scholarships of up to $5000 are available to students who are completing a Bachelor of Nursing or Midwifery Honours program at a Western Australian tertiary institution
Registered Nurse and Midwifery Double Degree
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) / Bachelor of Science (Midwifery)
- Scholarships of up to $3000 are available to students who have successfully completed semesters one and two of a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or Bachelor of Science (Midwifery), or equivalent, at a Western Australian tertiary institution
- Scholarships of up to $5000 are available to students who are completing a Bachelor of Nursing or Midwifery Honours program at a Western Australian tertiary institution
- A limited amount of postgraduate scholarships are available to nurses and midwives working in the private and publicly funded sectors, however, priority will be given to those working in the public health sector
