Edith Cowan University supports the Australian Scholarships Foundation (ASF) initiative to enhance the management and accountability of not-for-profit organisations by offering places for study in a Graduate Certificate program. The opportunity is for full-time or part-time study with each scholarship paying for 65-100 per cent of tuition fees for the course being undertaken.

Preferred not-for-profit organisations eligible for 100% scholarship include those with programs that maximise the education prospects of current and future generations of young people and/or creating employment readiness training and work experience opportunities for the long-term unemployed. All not-for-profits may apply.

Application opening date: 5 October 2012
Application closing date: 1 January 2013

Method of application:

There are two requirements:

  1. Application for the scholarship
    Download ASF application Form attached or visit the Australian Scholarships Foundation website
  2. Application for Course Admission
    Visit ECU website and complete online application form ECU Online Admission System

Eligibility requirements

Eligibility criteria:

Eligible programs include:

  • Graduate Certificate of Business (Project Management)
  • Graduate Certificate of Business (Marketing)
  • Graduate Certificate of Business (Information Systems)
  • Graduate Certificate of Business (Human Resource Management)
  • Graduate Certificate of Business (Leadership)
  • Graduate Certificate of Business (Management)

Scholarship Eligibility criteria:

To be eligible to apply

  • applicants must be employed by not-for-profit charitable organisations
  • the completion of the above programs would, in ASF's view, benefit the applicants employing organisation
  • applicants must be eligible for admission to ECU

Nationality:

  • Australian citizen

Level of study:

  • PG - Postgraduate Certificate

Applicant information:

To apply you must complete BOTH of the following:

  • ASF application Form
    Application form emailed directly to the ASF at applications@scholarships.org.au as an email attachment
  • The online application form

Note: Must be received by the closing date.

Selection:

Selection is based on previous academic performance and support from the charitable organisation.

The application opens as a Word document.

Complete your application by filling in the spaces provided for each section, save it to your hard disk, and send it to applications@scholarships.org.au as an e-mail attachment by the closing date.
