Dorothea Swift Nursing Scholarship
The Dorothea Swift Nursing scholarships are targeted at nursing students commencing their first semester of study in the ECU Bachelor of Science (Nursing) for 2013.
The scholarships were established to provide financial support for 3 years of an ECU nursing course to Western Australian students who are either from a rural/regional town in WA and have relocated to study or are Indigenous Australians. The total value of the scholarship is $24,000 over three years. Applicants will be required to demonstrate prior academic success and their commitment to nursing.Application opening date: 18 January 2013

Eligibility requirements
Eligibility criteria:
Applicants must:
- Have/intend to relocate from a rural, regional or remote area of WA
or - be an Indigenous student - Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
and - be a resident of Western Australia
- NOT be in receipt of any other scholarships with the exception of those in receipt of any Commonwealth Scholarships (CAS and /or CECS) or the Student Start Up or Relocation Scholarships through Centrelink
