Hydrology 2010
Professor Geoff Syme from the ECU Centre for Planning has been selected as the Chair for Hydrology 2010, an international conference held in San Diego from 11 – 13 October 2010.
Sponsored by UNESCO and Elsevier’s Journal of Hydrology, the conference will examine new directions in hydrology from interdisciplinary perspectives.
The conference is set to examine several areas of interest, including climate change and history and conflict in water resources management, as well as health and socio-economic issues.
The Centre for Planning will be well represented at the event, with a paper to be given by Dr Edward Andre and a second one accepted for Adjunct Associate Professor John Roberts.
Selected papers will be included in a ‘special issue’ of the Journal of Hydrology to be edited by Professor Syme.
