Broadcast studios

Our broadcasting facilities offer students the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art, industry standard equipment. The Building 7 radio studios give undergraduate students the chance to work in three purpose-built studios and a fully-equipped radio newsroom, while the radio studios in Building 6 give postgraduate students a specialised teaching area in a workplace style environment.

Building 6 also houses a professional standard television studio where students learn how to work in a fully operational TV studio. Depending on courses, students can learn everything from camera operation, directing, audio and lighting, to reading scripts from an autocue, presenting television programs, news and weather.
