Staff of Edith Cowan University are invited to submit works for ESPRESSO SELF 2016, an exhibition aimed at showcasing our staff’s creative practice and research to the wider ECU community and general public.
This year we hope to continue the exhibition’s association with Research Week and ECU’s 25th Anniversary celebrations.
Venue: Spectrum Project Space, Mount Lawley Campus
Proposed dates: Tuesday, 6 until Friday, 16 September, 2016
Proposed opening event: 5.30pm, Tuesday, 6 September 2016
Proposed closing celebration: 5.30pm Friday, 16 September, 2016 to coincide with Mount Lawley Research Week.
Each exhibitor may enter up to five works. All formats are welcome. An exhibitor fee of $20 per artist
is required. Exhibitors will be required to assist with the bump in and bump out of the exhibition and the gallery sitting. Artists wishing to sell any submitted works are encouraged to do. Exhibitors wishing to have their work acknowledged as Creative Practice Research are asked to submit an ASPIRE
research statement two weeks before the opening of the exhibit. This statement will form part of the catalogue associated with the exhibition.
Expressions of interest and relevant digital images are due by Friday, 8 July, 2016.
