ECU Conference Week: Investigate Your Future

The ECU Student Guild wishes to invite you to the inaugural ECU Conference Week for the School of Arts and Humanities which will run during the mid-semester break from Tuesday, 27 September until Friday, 30 September 2016.

The event aims to connect students with industry and provide a real world perspective to students. Further to this the event offers an opportunity for students to network with industry professionals, ECU staff, alumni and other students.

The days have been designed to be engaging, interactive, educational and fun. Conference Week is a free event and catering is provided throughout the day. Just by registering online and turning up on the day you will automatically go into the draw to win an iPad! Plus, there are many more prizes to be won on the day.

Speakers and topics include:

  • Dr Sue Boyd – International Relations and Politics
    Past President of the Australian Institute of International Affairs, former Ambassador, High Commissioner and Consul General.
  • Chris Maseyk – Criminology
    Manager of Investigation Services for the Building Commission, former Lecturer and Police Detective.
  • Dr Jordan Foster – Psychology
    Registered Psychologist and Founder of the YSAFE Program
  • Susan Midalia – Creative Writing
    Author and freelance editor
