TINAS - Bridging Ethics and Creative Arts Research

This is not a seminar (TINAS) with WAAPA, SAH and the Office of Research and Innovation bring an exciting opportunity for creative arts researchers and beyond with their upcoming event - 'Bridging Ethics and Creative Arts Research'. The event will feature Professor Barbara Bolt (Associate Dean of Research, The VCA and MCM, The University of Melbourne) and Professor Estelle Barrett (Research and HDR Coordinator Institute of Koorie Education, Deakin University) at ECU`s new and enticing venue, The Edith.

The event will begin with Barbara Bolt and Estelle Barrett bringing their unique talents as experts in creative arts and social research to the context and findings of innovation.design.art.research.ethics (iDARE); a project investigating new ways of supporting ethical know-how and creative practice research for higher degree research candidates, supervisors, academics and ethics administrators. Following lunch, Estelle Barrett will share her research into the notions of relationality in research involving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. There will be ample opportunity to engage in dialogue with the whole group
