Friday, 07 October 2016

Following the Annual Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) Research Conference co-hosted by Global Issues Practice Centre (GIPCEN) in December 2015, we are pleased to announce the release of our annual CVE publication. Expanding Research on Countering Violent Extremism is a collection of papers presented at the 2015 conference in Abu Dhabi, as edited by Sara Zeiger of our partnering organization Hedayah.

Chapters have been collated into the thematic sections; ‘Design and Methodology: Developing Standards for CVE’ ; ‘Investigating Push and Pull Factors to Violent Extremism’; 'Case Studies in CVE Programming’, and; 'Countering Terrorist Narratives’ - and the publication concludes with a range of Policy Recommendations. This second volume follows 'Countering Violent Extremism: Developing an evidence-base for policy and practice’ which reported on the range of papers presented at the 2014 conference conference.
