Dr Robert van der Veen

Background

Robert is an Adjunct Research Fellow in the Business School at the University of South Australia. He specializes in tourism marketing research, multivariate data analysis and structural equation modelling.
Robert received his PhD from the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has published several book chapters, international conference papers and various journal articles (Annals of Tourism Research, Journal of Travel Research, Journal for Travel and Tourism Marketing, International Journal of Tourism Research, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, Journal of Vacation Marketing). He has co-edited a special issue for the Journal of China Tourism Research on the topic of Domestic Tourism in China and served as an executive committee member for a number of conference boards and non-profit organizations to promote the Australia-China relationship. He has been awarded several grants and awards to support his research projects, invited as speaker at international conferences and involved in several consultancy projects.
