Professor Stephen Teo and Dr Diep Nguyen

Professor Stephen Teo and Dr Diep Nguyen have had their paper, Psychological safety climate and workplace bullying in Vietnam’s public sector, published in Public Management Review (an ABDC A-ranked journal).

The research focussed on the impersonal nature of public management which can potentially result in workplace bullying and risks for psychological health and safety in the public sector in non-Western economies.

Reviewing the cases of 274 employees from six branches of a Vietnamese public sector organization, it was recommended that members of senior management should consider positive work conditions and an effective system of policies, procedures, and practices for the prevention of psychosocial hazards.
