Ms Fiona Low is a Lecturer in the School of Business and Law.
Monday 8.00am to 5.30pm
Fiona holds a part-time academic appointment and is also a practising lawyer. Since 2008 she has coordinated and taught Civil Procedure at Edith Cowan University. Fiona has also taught as a sessional lecturer at the Securities Institute of Australia, Murdoch University and the University of Notre Dame.
Fiona’s varied private practice experience (mostly in litigation) has been complemented by senior roles in both corporate and government practice.

Fiona brings her professional interest in regulated industries (including the professions) and their enabling regulatory frameworks, organisational governance and the effective use of legislation to her teaching. Her primary teaching interest lies in encouraging and developing lawyering skills in students in preparation for their transition to professional admission.
Fiona currently operates her own consulting legal practice although spent the first 10 years of her career as an employee in two national law firms in Melbourne and Perth. She has appeared in each of the WA courts, the State Administrative Tribunal, the Federal Court, the High Court and various state courts in both Victoria and New South Wales.
