Planning professor speaks hydrology

Professor Geoff Syme jumps on board the future of hydrology.

Professor Geoff Syme, Centre for Planning, is currently organizing an international conference regarding the future directions for water resource management. Held in San Diego later in the year, the conference will examine New Directions in Hydrology; a jointly funded venture by the Journal of Hydrology and UNESCO.

The conference will last for three days, with major figures from around the world providing invited papers on the topic.

Geoff is Chairman of the organizing committee, who will be publishing a Special Issue for the Journal of Hydrology, of which Geoff will be the Editor.
