Join in the fun on Purple Bra Day - Friday 17 June
Wednesday, 08 June 2011
Staff across ECU's Mount Lawley and Joondalup campuses will wear special purple bras over their clothes on Friday 17 June to raise money to provide much needed support for West Australian's affected by breast cancer.
The day will also launch the new BREAST CANCER CLICK website, a national online support network for people affected by breast cancer developed as part of a three year ECU / ARC PhD project in conjunction with industry partner Breast Cancer Care WA.
To celebrate both Purple Bra Day and the 'Click' project, Prof Clive Barstow (Head of School of Communications + Arts) invites all staff and students to attend a fund-raising morning tea including a presentation by the Click's Researcher, Cynthia Witney.
