Julie Lewis Biennial Literary Awards for poetry and prose

The Peter Cowan Writers' Centre is calling for entries in the 2011 Julie Lewis Biennial Literary Awards for poetry and prose.
Entries must be unpublished works that have not won prior recognition. There is no set theme (you can write about whatever you like!) or age limit for entrants. The poetry category has a limit of up to 50 lines, and the prose category has a limit of up to 2,000 words.
Both categories have prizes of $400 for first place, $200 for second place, $100 for third place, and highly commended and commended certificates.
The awards close on Wednesday, 31 August 2011. The entry fee is $10 per entry or three entries for $25.
