2012 School of Communications and Arts Graduate Show - Transformers
This year’s theme is ‘Transformers’ and represents a structured network of simultaneous exhibitions featuring new works by graduating students. These works have the potential to transform how we think about art, design, photography, fashion, film and video today.
Taking place in the Spectrum Project Space and surrounding areas, the night will include complimentary drinks and finger food as well as live music and a few other surprises.
Guests are welcome from 6pm with the Honorable John Day MLA, Minister for Planning; Culture and the Arts officially opening the event at 6.30pm. You can then make your way from area to area seeing a variety of creative works through until 9pm.
Each area of SCA has it’s own title and theme for the night as listed below:
- Design – 'New View', curated by Stuart Medley, Alun Price and Jo Jung
- Visual Arts – 'Unbridled', curated by Gregory Pryor
- Film & Video – 'The Fine Cut' (screenings)
- Photomedia – 'Things As They Are', curated by Max Pam and Paul Godfrey
- Fashion – 'Blunder', curated by Justine McKnight and Christopher Fitzallen
