Accent and dialect project
The aim of the project was to build a comprehensive collection of audio files representing as many of the world's fascinating renditions of the English language as we could gather. Over two hundred and forty examples of English spoken word from 60 countries of origin were gathered. Samples have been collected by students of the Western Australian Academy of Performing arts since 1996 and will continue in 2010 and beyond with each student enrolled in our second year vocal skills course contributing a new interview each year.
