The Broom Room
Location: 4.113 (entry through 4.112, third year visual arts studios) access through building 5
Description: A small windowless room off one corner of the third year studios
Duration of show: weekly (Thursday to Wednesday)
Room dimensions: 2600mm height, 2220mm width and 2440mm depth
Door frame dimensions: 800mm height x 2050mm width
Preferred artforms: 2-D works, 3-D, multi-media, projection, installation, performance.
Technical specifications: walls painted white, light proof, projector shelf installed above door, double power point on right hand wall, room lit by a double baton fluorescent light with diffuser, carpet floor
Maintenance: At conclusion of each exhibition, the space must be left in good order. The walls are to be patched and painted, leaving clean smooth walls.
