ECIER research seminar 30 August

Tuesday, 28 August 2012

Edith Cowan Institute of Education Research is proud to announce this weeks research seminar ‘Developing Teachers’ Professional Competencies through Online Community of Practice’, presented by Eunice Sari.

Ongoing professional learning is a key to improve professional competence of in-service teachers. Many in-service teachers, however, still struggle to continuously update their professional competence due to their professional commitments. In a challenging geographical and socio-cultural setting like Indonesia, the challenges for ongoing professional learning are even more complex.

About the presenter

Eunice Sari is an educator and ICT in Education specialist with more than a decade of experience working at schools, universities and companies in Europe and the Asia Pacific. She is the founder of OLC4TPD (Online Learning Community for Teacher Professional Development), a community of practice that aims to develop professional competence of educators in Indonesia.
