Promoting good practice in technology education in Western Australia
This project was supported by a Commonwealth Government The Australian Schools Innovation in Science, Technology, and Mathematics (ASISTM) grant to support technology teachers in identifying their own good practice and sharing that practice with others. Selected K-12 teachers in Western Australia were supported to develop professional learning modules as examples of their own practice in Technology Education.
Support and feedback was provided in the collection and analysis of data to vindicate the good practice and to prepare and deliver a professional learning module for other teachers. The learning package was shared with the teacher's school and communities of practice, online, and at the WA Technology and Enterprise conference.
