Developing preservice teachers’ understanding of positive classroom environments through the use of immersive video

This project investigates the use of panoramic 360-degree-vision video technology as a practical, cost-effective means to develop pre-service teachers’ spatial and temporal awareness of factors that contribute to positive classroom environments. Immersive video-based reflection tasks using a body-based, spatial cognitive approach will be integrated into a pre-service teacher education unit and evaluated from a teaching and learning perspective. The project is supported by a Faculty of Education and Arts Small Grant.
