Targeting resources in primary schools

This study, in collaboration with the Australian Primary Principals Association, examined the extent to which funding (or resources) allocated through national agreements between Commonwealth and State Governments to improve literacy and numeracy reached the schools for which the additional support was intended. The study draws on information collected from 33 case study schools and 2,400 students who were reported by their teachers to be performing below minimum standard in literacy and numeracy.

The report of this study, 'Targeting support for high-need students' is with DEEWR awaiting release.
