The aim of this project was to refine and evaluate the framework for teaching Hypermedia Comprehension (as defined by Oakley, Fellowes and Nelson) constructed as a result of a CSaLT small grant in 2005.
The Hypermedia Comprehension Framework was developed in response to data collected, and existing research, that indicated that primary school teachers struggle in knowing what to teach in hypermedia contexts and how to teach it.
Hypermedia texts are non-linear and often multimedia, such as websites.
