Innovative design in remote schools

This project assisted design and technology teachers in remote schools to develop projects that involved students in relevant innovative designing and making activities. Activities designed were stimulating and appropriate to both the context and the students. They were developed and trialled in schools, before being distributed to teachers across Australia through a website in 2009. Associate Professor John Williams led this ASISTM funded project for CSaLT to work with a set of teachers in Pilbara and Goldfields schools to develop good practice in design and technology teaching.
