This project evaluated the effectiveness of initiatives implemented by the South Australian Department for Education and Child Development (DECD) as part of its Primary Mathematics and Science Strategy (PMSS). The initiatives included teacher professional learning programs and the provision of curriculum resources to schools. Evaluation of the science component of PMSS was implemented in three phases so that data could be gathered at all levels of impact and from all participants. The project was funded by a grant from the South Australian Department for Education and Child Development.
