An early support program for mathematics and science teachers: professional mentoring for re-training teachers

Mentoring teachers in a different subject area requires knowledge of the subject in addition to knowledge of how to support the teachers' learning as they transition from one subject area to another. This program piloted a new way of mentoring that resulted in addressing a significant need in hard-to-staff areas of the curriculum.
