An evaluation of the behaviour management and discipline strategy

This multi-method evaluation examined the impact of the behaviour management and discipline strategy, a large-scale program developed by the Department of Education and Training that was intended to reduce the level of indiscipline in more than 250 government schools. School principals were surveyed, 13 focus groups were conducted, interviews conducted, official documents reviewed and departmental databases analysed in order to establish attendance rates and other trends.
