'Riding the waves': Implementing a tiered approach to literacy intervention

The researchers mentored four paraprofessionals as they worked with small groups of junior primary students with significant literacy needs. All students made significant progress, with the Year 1 and 2 students making more progress than the students in Year 3. A surprising outcome was the increase in professional skills and confidence of the paraprofessionals.
