Wireless sensor networks for smart homes

With the rapid development of technologies such as Internet of Things, smart home system which is regarded as one of the main application domains, obtained increasing attention from researchers and consumers. In this project, we will develop a smart home system based on the principle of Internet of Things. Through communicating the household wireless sensor network data to a central server, users will be able to control the household devices conveniently and remotely. The system architecture, hardware design and implementation will be investigated. This system will provide a more flexible and convenient control for smart home systems.
