Wireless sensor networks for coral health monitoring
Wireless sensor networks have emerged as an exciting technology for collecting data about the natural or built environment. A wireless sensor network consists of numerous low cost sensor motes with wireless capability forming a network that provides information on a temporal and spatial scale.
In this project, we aim to develop a framework for wireless sensor networks for detection of bush fire. Numerous sensors will be deployed in this project for transmitting information like temperature, humidity and light.
An application interface will be developed which will trigger an alarm once the sensors report any event related to a bush fire.
