The application of heat flux sensors to individuals undergoing exercise
Heat flux sensors typically identify the rate of energy exchange per unit surface area. When integrated with temperature based measurements, such data can shed light on the development of heat transfer processes (over time). This multi-disciplined project studied the application of specialised (flexible) heat flux sensors to individuals undergoing exercise. Some factors affecting the measurement accuracy of these sensors were also explored.
