Ms Kate Hadwen
Background
Kate has been working at the CHPRC since 2008. Prior to her role at the CHPRC she was involved extensively in the education sector in a range of positions including: Head of Boarding (WA); Curriculum Co-ordinator (QLD) Head of House (QLD); member of the School Executive, Board of Studies and Pastoral Board; Project Manager for PeaceBuilders (National), Australia; and teaching roles at primary and secondary schools.

Research Areas and Interests
Kate's primary interest is implementing whole school strategies to improve the health and well-being of children and adolescents. Specific areas of interest include the prevention and management of cyberbullying, promotion of students' resilience, and strategies for addressing the unique needs of boarding school students. Kate specialises in training as well as developing intervention resources for school staff, students, and their families.
