The scholarship will provide invaluable support to both students as they continue their nursing degrees.

“We are really grateful to the donors of the Dorothea Swift Nursing Scholarship. Thanks to their generosity and thoughtfulness, ECU can offer students from Indigenous and rural backgrounds the opportunity to begin a highly rewarding career in nursing and, in turn, benefit the lives of others.
"Supporting scholarships like these can be genuinely life changing. We would like to wish this year’s beneficiaries, Alana and Meg, every success in their degrees and look forward to seeing them progress in the future.”
