Indigenous Student Intake Test
The Indigenous Student Intake Test is a culturally appropriate assessment of skills and knowledge, which facilitates the fast tracking of Indigenous students into a bridging or undergraduate course at Edith Cowan University.
The ISIT program is administered by Kurongkurl Katitjin and is held twice a year, prior to each semester commencing. The dates for ISIT in 2013 are:

What does the ISIT look like?
The ISIT runs over a full-day from approximately 9.00am - 3.00pm, which includes a brief information session, a test and an informal interview. Morning tea and lunch are provided.
The ISIT is held at Kurongkurl Katitjin (Building 15) at Edith Cowan University’s Mount Lawley Campus.
Who is eligible?
Applicants must identify as an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and be at least 18 years of age.
Applicants who have a Certificate III (or higher qualification) do not need to undertake the ISIT and may be eligible to apply directly to a bridging or undergraduate course. Please see Future Students for more information.

What else do I need to know?
- Applicants must ensure they have a current email address. This is required to apply for the bridging or undergraduate courses at Edith Cowan University.
- ISIT is a full day commitment, so please be prepared to be available between 9.00am - 3.00pm.
- The ISIT is an important assessment, so out of respect for other applicants and yourself, children and/or additional visitors should not accompany you on the day.
