Research activity
The School of Management has a very active research program with over 30 research students enrolled in PhDs. Staff have received major research grants and the School offers generous support to research students.
The Small and Medium Enterprise Research Centre is based within the School of Management and the Centre for Innovative Practice is a faculty-wide research centre.
Small and Medium Enterprise Research Centre
The Small and Medium Enterprise Research Centre (SMERC) is based within the School of Management and is recognised nationally and internationally for research in the small and medium enterprise domain that produces outcomes of significant value to academe and practice. SMERC has developed strong links with industry associations, the business community and government through support of, participation in, and facilitation of SME activities.
Centre for Innovative Practice
The Centre for Innovative Practice is a faculty-wide research centre that conducts research into innovation in the professions and organisations. Innovation may be related to new products, services, new processes or innovative marketing.
