Background

Dr Susanne Bahn is a Senior Lecturer, research only, in the School of Management, Faculty of Business and Law. Her doctoral study focused on management values and safety culture. She has worked on several social research projects over the past five years and is currently completing research in Occupational Health & Safety on projects that investigate workplace culture, safety leadership and hazard awareness. She has also been involved in numerous evaluations of training and social programmes. Her other research work investigates skilled migration in Australia in the resources sector.

Her interests lie in workplace values, middle management change practices, OH&S processes, vocational education for construction and mining, and skilled migration. Previous roles include OHS & HR Manager for various medium businesses and as a self-employed OHS consultant.
